People turn to mobile technology to ease their boredom, especially during their idle time -- while waiting for the bus or train, or during long haul flights. As the year 2016 come to an end, let's take a look at the best mobile games of the year.

Currently featured as favorite by Apple, "Reigns" is a new gaming app where the player plays as the king and its fate - whether to live or die - lies in the cards.
