Microsoft might unleashed new Xbox 360 titles with the Backward Compatibility feature for the month of December 2016. The Xbox One Backward Compatibility allows video gamers to play their favorite Xbox 360 games on the new Xbox One console. Since the release of Xbox One, the games on Xbox 360 have been added every month to the increasing list of backward-compatible titles.

The Twitter post of Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, stated that Xbox One owners should be aware that there are more than 300 backward-compatible video games available on Xbox One. Before 2016 ends, Microsoft appears to ensure that their Xbox gamers will get the 14 titles with updated Backward Compatibility in the month of December. Among the 14 games, six titles were only introduced as new Xbox One backward-compatible.

Nevertheless, as stated by the Xbox Live's director of programming, Major Nelson, the six game titles are "Catherine," "Planets Under Attack," "Bully Scholarship Ed.," "Skydive: Proximity Flight" and the action platform video game, "Raskulls." While the "CLANNAD" is also among the six titles, however, the game is only available in Japan.

Rockstar's open world adventure game, "Bully," follows the teen rebel Jimmy Hopkins and his aim to rise up the ranks among bullies within the fictional town of Bullworth. While Targem Games' strategy video game, "Planets Under Attack," focuses on completing missions in order to triumph over multiple planetary systems.

That being said, some video gamers may be bummed that they won't be getting Call of Duty: Black Ops II before the holidays, but Microsoft has taken the Xbox One Backward Compatibility program a long way since its introduction last year. The backward compatibility program of Xbox One was launched on Nov. 2015, and now has more than 300 titles in it, according to WWG.
