Over a week after Apple Inc. pushed out the iOS 10.2 update, the tech company has stopped signing iOS 10.1 and 10.1.1 versions. This means that Apple device users who have already updated their gadgets to iOS 10.2 will no longer be able to downgrade their operating system.

The Cupertino based tech giant is making things significantly harder for Apple device users who aim to break their device's limitations and security through jailbreaking. This is more apparent for those individuals who have mistakenly updated their iOS versions to the latest iOS 10.2, according to 9 to 5 Mac.

After the tech company stops signing older versions of its operating system, consumers won't be able to downgrade their gadgets. Wherein, this will put the Apple devices into some potential problems and serious security issues. The issue also causes a huge concern for those who got stuck with iOS 10.2 and want to jailbreak their gadgets following the news about the jailbreak tool of Luca Todesco, Mac Rumors reported.

The upcoming jailbreak tool is now being prepared by the Italian jailbreak tool developer, Todesco, which will utilize the Project Zero Exploits in order to offer a fully working iOS 10 jailbreaking solution. The jailbreak tool is believed to roll out soon and the hacker specifically instructs individuals to avoid iOS 10.2.

For those Apple device users who are still at iOS 10.1.1, the users should just wait patiently for the latest update regarding the exploits of Todesco. At the moment, the only solution in rolling back to an earlier iOS version is by using a tool called TinyUmbrella.

Another option left is to install unapproved iOS apps by using Cydia alternatives like Mojo or Tweak. These tools require no jailbreak, and a number of useful apps as well as emulators are still available with the tools.
