The role-playing game "Dragon Ball Fusions" has finally arrived for Nintendo 3DS. Nevertheless, game enthusiasts are wondering if the role-playing game will stand out from the other Dragon Ball games.

In a YouTube video, Bandai Namco Entertainment's role-playing game showed a colorful design and almost all Dragon Ball characters from the hit anime TV series. In spite of that, the storyline of "Dragon Ball Fusions" for Nintendo 3DS was not taken from any of the anime series or even in the manga series.

The player will start the game by creating their own character by choosing one of the races from the anime TV series. The "Dragon Ball Fusions" player will also get to choose the hairstyle, voice and facial features of their character. After which, the player can explore "Dragon Ball Fusions'" beautifully rendered environments and structures.

A player's friend in the video game is named Pinnich, the character exclusively created for "Dragon Ball Fusions." Pinnich can collect all seven Dragon Balls and allowed to make a single wish.

The wish of Pinnich is to have the biggest tournament ever to distinguish the strongest fighter. From there, the player can explore the video game while recruits familiar characters to join in their battle. The characters include the young Goku to "Dragon Ball Super's" most recent characters.

The player's character also gets to explore 3D environments as the "Dragon Ball Fusions" player visits towns. There, the gamer can complete side quests, speak to the town people for information, as well as buying items in the shops.

Moreover, some attacks in the "Dragon Ball Fusions" for Nintendo 3DS have cut scenes that a player won't be able to skip, which a gamer can be exhausted after a while. Fighting low-level enemies just for levelling up can also get quite monotonous, according to GameSpot.

Overall, the role-playing game is not a perfect game due to its repetitiveness. Nonetheless, the "Dragon Ball Fusions" is still a good game to play.
