It has long been rumored that "Naruto," the most globally adored anime TV series of all time, will have its live-action spin-off since Lionsgate acquired the live-action film rights to the anime series. With the recent announcement confirming the rumors, Naruto Uzumaki will now step out of anime series and will receive its own live-action Hollywood adaptation.

Fans of the "Naruto" are now buzzing with excitement that the anime TV series is making its way to Hollywood. While the franchise creator Masashi Kishimoto appeared at the Weekly Jump's Jump Festa, Kishimoto pitched in some major announcements about the future of the series.

Kishimoto mentioned that the live-action adaptation of the anime series is underway and he has been asked to help in the development of the "Naruto" film. Kishimoto stated that director Michael Gracey will helm the motion picture with him. "Naruto" fans couldn't be more excited as the event showcased the exclusive pre-production art from the forthcoming film, according to Comic Book.

In spite of that, a Reddit thread showed that some "Naruto" fans are quite worried about the live-action Hollywood adaptation. Considering the fact that Hollywood doesn't have the reputation when it comes to anime projects. Fans of the anime TV series hope that the motion picture will be better than the action-adventure fantasy film, "Dragon Ball Evolution."

Nonetheless, the live-action Hollywood adaptation of "Naruto" will join other famous anime series, such as "Ghost in the Shell" and the "Death Note," that are getting their own English dubbed live-action adaptations from major Hollywood studios. "Death Note" was supposed to be produced by Warner Bros., however, the company declined the rights over to Netflix. While Scarlett Johansson will star the "Ghost in the Shell," and the film is slated to hit theaters in March, Polygon reported.

So far, there is no word on when the "Naruto" live-action Hollywood adaptation will hit theaters.
