After Sundance Head won "The Voice" season 11 on December 13, his coach Blake Shelton angrily stands up for the "Darlin' Don't Go" singer. Blake said that Head deserves to be a star and even challenges Universal Studios to show support for their winning stars.

Blake Shelton Defending Sundance Head

Shelton said that Head won America's hearts and that he can sell tons of music, especially Head's new son "Darlin' Don't Go," which Head wrote himself, Taste of Country reported. Heads new single went straight to the top of iTunes charts right after it was released Dec. 12.

Shelton has a reputation of helping the musicians he has coached in "The Voice," and he is definitely going to do the same with Head. He will do whatever it takes to bring Head's career to the next level.

He hopes that they can work with Universal Records with Head, because Shelton believes that this season's winner can be the star that came out of "The Voice." Shelton said they must make the record and give it the work that Sundance deserves to turn him into the star that he deserves to be.

He believes that that can only be achieved if they are backed by Universal Records.

Sundance Head Thanks Shelton for 'The Voice" Win

With all the support that Sundance is getting from Blake, it is only fitting that he attributes his victory to his coach. Besides "The Voice," Head was also a finalist on another popular singing competition TV show, the "American Idol." The 37-year-old artist said his bond with Shelton is one of the biggest factors that helped him win.

Head said Shelton taught how to trust himself and believe in his skills. Sundance also said that they have a lot in common, like going to the woods. That love for the outdoors, somehow helped them work with each other, "The Voice" winner said.
