Creators of "Star Wars Battlefront 2" addressed fans demand and bring an excellent single-player experience to the table. Electronic Arts and DICE will make every aspect of "Star Wars Battlefront 2" so much better than it's predecessors as they focus on the single-player element.

Single Player Hopes Are Answered

Electronic Arts' Justin McCully appeared on the Achievement Oriented podcast saying the first Battlefront was focused on perfecting the multiplayer experience, which is what DICE is good at, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. After observing the multiplayer aspect, they have gathered ideas on how to tell narratives from various characters as the universe expands. He added that they heard the clamours of the fans who mostly said the multiplayer was great, but they want a single-player storyline to complete the entire package of the gameplay.

McCully emphasized that storylines on gaming is not linear since players are given a chance to choose how the narratives of their characters will go. This is an element not present in film or TV, which is why they poured a lot of thought when bringing "Star Wars Battlefront 2" the single-player element.

Sequel Better Than Predecessors

Earlier this year, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said the same thing about storyline for "Star Wars Battlefront 2." He confirms that the first one didn't have the depth that most hardcore gamers want. He said that one of the reasons "Battlefront" didn't have the single-player mode yet is because they want to release it along with the blockbuster mega hit "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Game Spot reported.

Despite not having a single-player aspect, "Battlefront" still became one of the best Star Wars games ever with 14 million copies sold. Now, the creators promise that "Star Wars Battlefront 2" will be even better. He said the sequel will be much bigger than it's predecessor and will include a lot of content from the new Star Wars movies.

Meanwhile, McCully said "Star Wars Battlefront 2" will be released during the holiday season of 2017.
