Claiming to deliver Android Nougat more personal to the user, the current update of Android Nougat also reflects a strong support to gender equality. Android Nougat 7.1.1 offered a lot to Android users various new features and promised an improvement stability and performance as well as in the aspect of user's surrealistic self -expression.

In a blog posted by Android product manager, Augustin Fonts, he announced that the update highlights gender equality, since along with other features are new and varied emojis that represent more the pivotal roles of women in the world. Nougat 7.1.1 includes gender counterparts for emoji that previously only had male or female representation such as female welders and men getting haircut.

The blog also informed that these new features are already in Pixel phones and are now available to all devices running Android 7.1.1. Androids eligible for the update will automatically receive an over-the-air update. It was also learned that this update does not only brings with it a consumer ready version of the Android but also December's Android security patch, Android Authority reported.

Notable features of Nougat update includes App shortcuts, which mimic the 3D Touch features introduced in iOS 9. A New Moves menu in Androids's Setting that include a number of actions that can be initiated by gesture. There is the Image Keyboard that enables the user to choose and send stickers, emojis, GIFs and pictures from the messaging app choice. Also in tow is Daydream VR, finger print gestures and brand new camera app.

Reports added that for now it is rolling out to Google's Pixel and Nexus phones, and the lack of Assistant integration seem to put other Android device out in the 7.1.1 update, at least for now. One major development though that this update brings to its users, is the reported positivefeedback of an improved touch latency.
