In line with the CES 2017 this January, LG pre-announces its new 4K HDR Monitors. According to reports, the new monitor is best for owners of the New MacBook Pro and for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S gamers. Plus, it has USB-C connectivity capability.

Specs and features

LG's 4K HDR Monitors have 32-inch display with IPS panel-equipped 32UD99, Engadget reported. It supports the HDR10 delivering professional quality 10-bit color, which means over a billion colors. It also covers a wide gamut of the DCI-P3 standard at 95 percent.

Going After New MacBook Pro Owners With USB-C Support

According to reports, these specs are best for the new MacBook Pro, especially since Apple is no longer developing its own monitors. Besides owners of the new MacBook Pro, LG is also targeting gamers who are color-sensitive. It will provide an excellent display for new game consoles that supports 4K and HDR, like the Xbox One S and the Playstation 4 Pro.

Aside from these amazing specs, LG's 4K HDR Monitors also have single USB-C cables, The Verge reported. This adds convenience to the experience since it allows users to charge their laptop while streaming images to the monitor with just one cable.

According to LG, its 4K HDR Monitor's True Color Pro settings gives professional-level picture quality and the best color reproduction accuracy in the industry. This means the monitor is also a good equipment to have for video editors and graphic artists. It makes post-production editing in film and color-grading better.

Its 34UC99 is a 34-inch model that comes with the AMD FreeSync tech. Those features provide dynamic action sync, 1ms refresh times, and other specs that gamers need.

For more information on 4K HDR Monitors, consumers will just have to wait for CES 2017 on January when LG will officially announce the device along with its price.
