The Go Pro 5 and Go Pro 5 Black had certainly received much positive reviews with their added features. However, the recent release of a high-end, yet more affordable action cameras from rival companies are now challenging Go Pro's leadership.

Go Pro's camera may have been the best and widely used but with the tough price competition, can Go Pro 5 or Go Pro 5 Hero Black beat the odds and remain the number one action camera? The company wouldn't afford to lose again this time after it lost to the controversial Karma Drone, which was recalled.

With the recent problems Go Pro faced, it is likely that they may go low as recent reports suggest. This past few months, Go Pro has been sitting in a terrible position as the company's stocks lost more than half of its value.

There have been reports about the plans to lay-off 15% of their staff and will shut down their entertainment unit. Go Pro also announces more job cuts causing panic among the workforce and is making investors more worried while rumors of possible takeover have started to rise.

 Obviously, Go Pro product sales are slowly sinking despite the new interesting products being added and sadly, there were predictions that it may continue until 2017 if Go Pro wouldn't come up with a solution.

The Go Pro action cameras were a staple since the first release and became widely known to those who are adventure lovers and is loved for the new added features in every generation of the Go Pro action cameras. Although the Go Pro 5 or Go Pro 5 Hero Black is the most loved generation due to its voice control as well as faster wireless data transfer feature despite the problem with the unresponsive screen. Go Pro still remain positive they can get back up.
