Good news for Halo fans! Despite "Monitor's Bounty" DLC update getting released last Dec. 8, "Halo 5" will receive more updates in the coming months. The update is expected to involve new maps and weapons.

According to VG 24/7, Monitor's Bounty had the largest Forge update the Halo franchise has ever seen. In fact, the update was so big that 343 Industries will end up revealing it in two installments. "Halo 5" can now be played on Windows 10 since both Forge and Arena has arrived on PC and the best part is it is completely free. The only bad news is there is no matchmaking involved.

The update also brought the much anticipated Custom Games Browser to "Halo 5" on Xbox One console and Windows 10. It allows you to search for games in progress straight from the main menu. You can join games but it is up to the players if they want other players to join in which means it is still based on their privacy settings. This is a great feature if you are a player looking for new friends to take down.

Monitor's Bounty also brought a new feature called Observer Mode to "Halo 5." It is a feature that shows the status and weapon details for all eight people currently playing the match. Its purpose is for viewers and casters to find out how many players had Power Weapons and Power-Ups and how many were on respawn.

Updates expected to arrive late in 2017, according to Haloway Point, are Mark V Delta (Legendary), Military Police (Ultra Rare), Recon Gen1 (Ultra Rare), Eva Gen1 (Ultra Rare), Security Gen1 (Rare), Operator Gen1 (Rare), EOD (Rare), CQB (Rare) and Pilot (Rare). All these can actually be earned by playing Halo 5.
