"Clash of Clans" players have been patiently waiting for the game's latest updates after the game's developer failed to live up to its promise of releasing the last month.  The is expected to bring new troops and new features to the villages and fans hope to see these materialize before December ends. 

Fans who might have seen the game's official forum where a Supercell Staff named Anoushka confirmed the release to take place between Dec. 19 and 23, just in time for the Christmas they say. Though they had hoped it was planned earlier and hoping nothing bad will happen

"Clash of Clans" players are expecting the update to bring the clan wars and villages to a whole new level with new addition to the troops and the rumored ships and sea creatures. Goblin vs. Wizard battle is also expected and players are excited to see the new changes in the Air defenses. As for the shipwreck, reports say that repairing the shipwreck will reward players with gems and coins, so this update will surely entice all of the clashers.

Now, while waiting for the "Clash of Clans" update in few days to come, check out the tips for the troops as they play a big role in clan wars being the support of the front liners. The ranged troops can deal with their damage while attacking from the distance.

Note the following "Clash of Clans" ranged troops and their specific ranges:

•  Archer - 3.5 tile range
•  Wizard - 3 tile range
•  Archer Queen - 5 tile range
•  Bowler - 3 tile range (on first strike)
•  Grand Warden - 7 tile range

During clan wars, bear in mind the positions of each of the ranged troops as well as positioning the defenses behind the walls for better defense of your "Clash of Clans" village.
