For a Google Assistant vs Siri comparison, it would be hard to distinguish one from the other because the two, almost identical smartphones perform almost the same functions. After extensive tests, Google Assistant proved to be the slightly better smartphone assistant than Siri in many ways.

According to Tech.Co, Google Assistant has the edge in the memory department over Siri. For example, Siri will agree if you tell her that your favorite color is orange. However, the program will forget what you just told her when you ask a minute later. But the same does not hold true for Google Assistant. It will remember your favorite color right away after you tell it that it is orange.

In the conversational department matchup, Google Assistant once again has the upper hand as you will feel like you are talking to one of your friends, according to The Next Web. When you ask both to tell you a joke, Siri will say it can't think of one while Google Assistant immediately gives an example of a joke even though it is not funny. Another example would be when you ask both to recite a poem, Google Assistant provides a poem that looks like came out of where else but Google while Siri responds with a simple "Roses are red" poem.

As for the General Questions category in the Google Assistant vs Siri battle, it really depends on the question you ask them but Google Assistant leads in follow up questions. For example, when you ask both smartphone assistants to name the president of the United States of America, both will get it right that it is Barack Obama. However, when you ask his height, Siri will say it does not know while Google Assistant will tell you that he is 1.85 meters tall.
