The holiday season is all about giving and most people wish that they get a smartphone as their Christmas gift. People can choose to buy the smartphones with the best cameras like the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7. But if they are in a tight budget, there are other phones to choose from.

Some of the best phone cameras for 2016 and 2017 are Apple's iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7, Google Pixel, and the One Plus 3T plus, PC Advisor reported. First is the ZTE Axon 7. It has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with the Snapdragon 820 chipset and it sells for only $399, 9 to 5 Google reported. It comes with 6GB worth of RAM and is compatible with the Google Daydream.

Next is Lenovo's Moto Z Play at only $449, making it the cheapest in the list. It is available at Verison Wireless and Unlocked. It has a 5.5-inc display with 1080p resolution, 3GB worth of RAM, 2.0GHz octa-core, and 16MP quality rear camera. One of the best features of this phone is its 3,600 mAH battery, which can last for 10 hours.

Honor 8 makes it to the top 5. With a 5.2-inch display and rear fingerprint sensor, its $399 price is quite competitive.

The ZTE Axon 7 Mini has specs that are almost as good as its bigger brother, but for half the price at $299.

Finally, there is the ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the ZenFone 3 Laser. The ZenoFone 3 Deluxe comes at $369, while the ZenFone 3 Laser is only at $199.
