The graphics processing giant NVIDIA has finally released to the tech market its latest 376.19 WHQL driver update, alongside its two giveaways on their social media sites and on GeForce Experience.

Earlier, NVIDIA dropped its Oculus Touch controllers from Oculus VR together with more than 50 games made for Virtual Reality experience. However, due to few bugs encountered on the previous game drivers, the Santa Clara-based GPU firm has published another graphics driver to address the issue.

GeForce Game Ready 376.19 WHQL drivers are said to be "optimized for the 53 Oculus Rift games" launching with Oculus Touch, the Rift's new motion controls. Normally these game ready driver releases are optimized for two or three titles.

According to AnandTech, NVIDIA's latest update offers solution on minor bugs. The minor update is said to fix one of two SLI issues in "No Man's Sky," with the other bug that involves temporal anti-aliasing still under operations. The latest graphics driver also fixes two issues with G-Sync for laptops.

Ocaholic.ch reported the GeForce 376.19 WHQL's Windows 10 fixed issues such as the issue on No Man's Sky with Foundation Update 1.10 showing severe texture corruption if SLI enabled.

Following the minor update, the company also included fixes in Notebook G-SYNC for a flickering issue and an issue with the G-SYNC pendulum demo. (Ocaholic.ch)

Aside from the graphics driver update, the company hosted two separate giveaways in celebration of the release of Oculus Touch controllers from Oculus VR.

For giveaway #1, NVIDIA gave away one GeForce GTX 1080 every day starting last Dec. 6 until Friday, Dec. 9, along with game codes for Oculus Touch titles. The company also granted one custom PC, complete with an Oculus Rift and Touch controllers on Friday, Dec. 9 to one grand prize winner.

For the second giveaway, NVIDIA offered 10 Oculus Rift bundles, which include the Oculus Rift headset, Oculus Touch controllers and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. Entering for this giveaway simply requires contestants to download and login to the latest GeForce Experience by Dec. 30 to be automatically entered to win, with winners chosen at random.
