"Attack on Titan" will return of a second season and it will get simulcast on Funimation in April 2017 but Funimation failed to mention whether or not they will dub the second season in English.

According to IGN, it's been three years since the season finale of "Attack on Titan" so the announcement of its April 2017 season 2 premiere is huge for its fans. Season 1's director Testuro Araki will now claim the chief director position while former episode director Masashi Koizuka will move up to direct all episodes of the second season.

According to Anime News Network, the first season aired from April until September of 2013. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the first season simultaneously as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll also publishes the manga in English digitally as new chapters are getting published in the land of the rising sun.

Fans were treated to a live-action film adapation of "Attack on Titan" during its three year absence. It had two parts but it was not well received by critics.

Last August, a third-person action game about "Attack on Titan" hit shelves. Unfortunately, it was not also received well by fans and critics too.

One reviewer went as far as to call the villains of the "Attack on Titan" game cartoonishly bad and were consistently weird. He also pointed out a bunch of mysteries like the motives of the government conspiracy being unclear. The worst part for him was the main characters were really bland.

"Attack on Titan", according to IMDB, stars Marina Inoue as Armin Arlert, Yuki Kaji as Eren Jaeger, Josh Grelle as Narrator, Bryce Papenbrook as Eren Jaeger, Kisho Taniyama as Jean Kirschtein and Trina Nishimura as Mikasa Ackermann. The story follows Eren Jaegar on his mission to rid the earth of the Titans after he saw his hometown get destroyed and mother murdered.
