The latest of Nintendo products the Nintendo Switch promises to be so much different than its competition that even the president of Sony Worldwide Studios called it interesting. It's unique as it gives the gamers a new experience of gaming, what with its portable system where gamers can finally play their games anytime anywhere. As its launching date draws near, fans are still speculating whether or not it's going to be region-free or European Unit.

Nintendo Switch Hybrid of Console and Portability Experience

The New Nintendo Switch will no longer bound gamers on the couch. They can take the console anytime, anywhere and play any games they want. It's something nobody has seen before. Although it's not exactly revolutionary, the Nintendo Switch, or Nix, finally brought something genius and convenient for everyone to use. 

It's the only product in its market and it could be carving its own niche. According to Nick Pettit, the developer working on "Neptune Flux", the Nintendo Switch could also open plenty of doors for game developers. He said gaming holds a very big market, which means there's plenty of room for Nintendo and other game developers to create something unique, Gaming Bolt reported.

Not only that, his statements were further echoed by Sony Worldwide Studios very own Shuhei Yoshida, who said the Nintendo Switch sure looks to be unique and interesting. The Nintendo Switch has a hybrid console, which looks to be bringing a different gaming and portability experience for all gamers out there. 

Nintendo Switch Region Free or European Unit?

"The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" recently showcased Nintendo Switch. For months it's been speculated and hoped that the new Switch will be region-free, which means lots of different games from other regions can be played on the device. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

When the Nintendo Switch was unveiled at Jimmy Fallon's show, gamers were disappointed to see the CE mark at the back of the device. CE is the European version of America's FCC, which is a requirement for every electrical product sold in Europe, Silicon Era reported. For now fans may have to wait until the product's official launch date in March 2017.
