The new Go Pro Hero Black 5 has all the best features of its predecessors. Now it is offered free for those who own the Karma drone. It's even been labelled the best action cam in the industry.

There were issues of the Karma drone falling from the sky and the company ordered a recall. Besides getting a refund, owners of those devices can get the all new Go Pro Hero Black 5 for free, Expert Reviews reported. GoPro's Karma drone sells for about $900. It would be disappointing to lose that money to a faulty device, and a free Hero Black 5 could be good enough to pay for the trouble.

Last December 5, Go Pro rolled out its Karma stabilizing grip for $299, The Verge reported. It makes using Karma easier. It is compatible with the new Hero Black 5.

The new Hero 5 Black is still rectangular, like the usual GoPro camera, but it has curvy edges. Meanwhile, its body is semi-rubberised. This makes it easier to hold, even with gloves. Its rubbery body gives it a capacity to withstand a few drops.

Its new design is far more superior to the rest of the GoPro models. Its angles are a few millimetres thicker than its predecessors. This means it can't easily fit in the waterproof Hero 4 case. No need to worry because it is already waterproof on its own.

For people who love to document their activities in their outdoor adventures, they can take the new model as deep as 10 meters. Without the waterproof casing, the new Go Pro Hero 5 Black can give better quality audio.

It also has the new 2 in Touchscreen feature, which takes away the inconvenient triple button scheme.
