According to the official website of Steam, Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog have announced that "Shadow Warrior 2" has launched its first free update called The Way of the Wang. The free update will add new contents for players to try out like new areas, and new abilities.

"Shadow Warrior 2" The Way of the Wang adds a new area within the main hub town of the video game. It also adds seven new unlockable Brutal Trials for protagonist Lo Wang to overcome.

"Shadow Warrior 2" The Way of the Wang adds new crafting abilities for the hero and new weapon gem slots. The new crafting abilities are Infuse Gem for merging, Purify Gem for removing the negative gem stats, and the Embed Gem to upgrade the base weapon stats.

"Shadow Warrior 2" The Way of the Wang Trial of the Ancient God reward

For the players who have completed the Trial of the Ancient God of "Shadow Warrior 2" The Way of the Wang, they can get the powerful Fist of Gozu weapon. This new DLC will add five new achievements for them to get and there will be three new difficulty Tiers for the Insane difficulty.
