The next chapter can be dubbed as the most heartbreaking episode as Pudding bids to the love of his life in exchange for the latter's freedom.

Pudding suddenly felt the change of heart for Sanji, which is why she decided not to pursue the wedding and instead help Sanji and his friends get away from Big Mom. In the previous chapter, it has been revealed that Pudding is genuinely in love with Sanji, although she does not have any plans of letting him know. Accordingly, she is apprehensive of telling him because she knows that Sanji does not feel the same way.

Nevertheless, News Everyday reported that "One Piece" Chapter 849 may have a twist and that Sanji might turn out to be able to reciprocate Pudding's feelings. Other spoilers also suggest that Pudding's escape plan will be revealed in "One Piece" Chapter 849.

Picking up from where the last chapter left off, "One Piece" Chapter 848, Pudding went to Luffy and Nami who are still held captive to apologize and to tell them an important information. There are speculations that she may have confessed her love to Sanji through her friends, while others believe that she told them a plan to escape.

It can be remembered that both Nami and Luffy were shocked with what she said and vehemently told her not to do it. However, Pudding did not heed to the two and instead went away. Rumors have it that her ultimate sacrifice will be her own happiness to give to Sanji and his friends' freedom, which he has long wanted.

Pudding has been very clear about her desire to follow in the footsteps of her sister, Lola, who left the island which made Big Mom furious. Meanwhile, reports are positive that a fight between the straw hats, together with Pudding, and Big Mom's army in order to escape will happen in "One Piece" Chapter 849.
