In just a short time, the graphics processing giant Nvidia has dropped another driver update in response to the existing Nvidia driver. The Santa Clara-based GPU firm has finally released to the market its latest 376.19 WHQL Driver Update.

Alongside the release of the Oculus Touch controllers from Oculus VR, NVIDIA has published its new GeForce Game Ready 376.19 WHQL drivers, which said to be optimized for the 53 Oculus Rift games.

As reported earlier by AnandTech, the new driver will offer a minor update but with a handful of bug fixes.
In addition, the GeForce Game Ready 376.19 WHQL drivers also fix one of two SLI issues in No Man's Sky. It also fixes two issues with G-Sync for laptops.

In celebrating the release of Oculus Touch controllers from Oculus VR, the company is hosting two separate giveaway, one on the company's social media sites (facebook and Twitter) and the other on Nvidia's GeForce Experience.

According to Nvidia, the first contest will start on Tuesday, Dec. 6 to Friday, Dec. 9, where the company is giving away one GeForce GTX 1080 every day along with the game codes for the various Oculus Touch titles. And then, there's the big one, in which Nvidia is giving away one custom PC, bundled with an Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch, to one lucky grand prize winner.

Entering the first Nvidia contest is quite easy, it requires only leaving a comment on the NVIDIA GeForce Facebook or Twitter channels, starting from Dec. 6 to Dec. 9. The comment must be made with the hashtag #VRReady and tagging @NVIDIAGeForce and @Oculus. Winners will be chosen randomly.

For the second contest, Nvidia is giving away 10 Oculus Rift bundles, which include the Oculus Rift headset, Oculus Touch Controllers, and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 to ten people, at randomly selected, who log into GeForce Experience and made the comment.

Like the first one, entering the second giveaway is also easy, it requires only contestants to download and login to the latest GeForce Experience by Dec. 30, which they will be automatically entered to win, winners chosen at random.

Based in Santa Clara, California, Nvidia is an American technology company that specializes in designing graphics processing units for the gaming market.

The company also designs and sells the system on a chip unit (SOCs) for the mobile computing and automotive market. Nvidia's flagship product, the GeForce, is a direct competition to AMD's Radeon products.

Nvidia has expanded its presence in the gaming market, releasing products such as SHIELD Android TV, Shield Tablet, and the handheld SHIELD Portable.
