The highly-awaited mobile operating system, Android 7.0 Nougat, has spurned much buzz for its new improvements and features. For smartphone enthusiasts, like the Galaxy S7 users, this update would mean a lot.

Samsung has made the Android 7.0 Nougat testing process more convenient, as the tech giant decided to re-open the Beta Testing Program for consumers and aspiring developers. The registration, which was opened in November of this year, has now been reopened for users of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in the U.K. territory. Users in the U.S. may look forward to access the program sometime in the next couple of days.

Recently, the South Korean tech company has unleashed the news that the Samsung Galaxy S7 users will have the official Android 7.0 Nougat update in December. Unlocked smartphones in Asian territories are expected to get the update first, followed by the Galaxy S7 users in the U.S. and Europe. Along with the Android 7.0 Nougat rollout, Samsung also released a guide to present smartphone users with an overview of the update's changes and new features, Citizen Oracle reported.

OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T are expected to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update on Dec. 15, according to Android Authority. While rumors are rife that the OS update for OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 will arrive next year.

In related news, the Android 7.0 Nougat may be downloaded manually on the LG G5 through the LG website. In spite of that, the Nougat update may not be available in a few locations yet, GSM Arena reported.

In addition, the Android 7.0 Nougat update is also being expected for the Sony Xperia X Performance, as well as the X Performance Dual and Xperia XZ. The HTC 10 is anticipated to get the Android 7.0 Nougat in 2017. That being the case, the Android 7.0 Nougat OS is reportedly weighing 1.5 GB.
