"Guardians of The Galaxy" 2 second trailer has been released and there is more to learn besides the Baby Groot running away with a bomb detonator.

It is no longer a spoiler that Star-Lord's father is Ego the Living Planet. Wired has mentioned this before as the site reported Kurt Russell's involvement in the sequel.

During Comic Con panel, more details about "Guardians of The Galaxy" were revealed. One of them is that Peter Quill will be dealing with father-and-son issue with Ego. Hence, the fans can expect the curtains to be unveiled in the sequel.

Ego has appeared previously in "Thor: The Dark World" and he is a devious character that will make Star-Lord in a huge dilemma. According to The Wrap, Ego will be the main villain in "Guardians of The Galaxy" 2 but it is still unclear how the parentage mystery between Star-Lord and Ego will be solved.

During an interview session with Vin Diesel, Cinemablend has learned a thing about Baby Groot from the voice actor. As an adorable Groot, he could likely cause more troubles than not. For instance, the trailer teases Rocket Raccoon teaching Groot an important lesson but apparently, Groot fails to understand.

Diesel describes the little Groot in vol. 2 as 'less mature' creature but judging from the GoTG, it can be argued that Baby Groot may be a fast learner that eventually saves the team.

While this is a pure speculation, but wouldn't it be great if the bomb could explode just in time when the Ravagers attack? Of course, this means that Groot is sacrificing himself once again.
