Tickets for "Hamilton: An American Musical" will go on sale next week for American Express Card holders first before being released to the general public.

Their tickets will initially be sold at $100 to $524, SF Gate reported. However, tickets for the show are expected to be sold out very soon. The second wave of tickets for sale will be released at twice the price.

The Tony Award-winning show will be shown in March 2017 at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, Business Insider reported. It is a musical about the story of Alexander Hamilton. The show uses rap to tell the story, especially with rapper and playwright Lin-Manuel Miranda writing the play.

Members of SHN now have Tickets

Even before being released, some people already bought tickets for as low as $41. These people are members of SHN and paid a subscription fee for the 2016 to 2017 season package for shows in Orpheum and Golden Gate theaters.

The cheapest price for the package is $195, with an additional handling fee of $50. The shows that are included in this package includes, "The King and I," "Into the Woods," "Finding Neverland," Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," "Roman Holiday," and Hamilton.

Availing this package would mean watching each show for a price of only $41. Without the package, audiences would pay $100 per ticket for each show. That would be a total of $600.

Membership for SHN is no longer available. When they do become available they quickly disappear.

High Demand for Hamilton Closed SHN Membership

According to SHN Chief Marketing Officer Scott Kane, they usually have 20,000 members per season, but now they sold over 43,000 membership slots. He said that "Hamilton" is one of the main reasons why so many people paid to be members of the package. He hopes that people will watch the rest of the shows in line at the orchestra.
