One of the most iconic woman in the history of America, the former first lady of the late President John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy's life portrayal is again coming back to big screen. The movie "Jackie" is to be played by the Oscar Award Winner Natalie Portman.

The classy Natalie Portman is also a perfect fit for the role considering her exquisite performance in the "Black Swan." She can perfectly mirror the elegance of the "Jackie" and copy the accent of the glamorous first lady.

Portman was picked by the director, a Chilean filmmaker named Pablo Larrain. When he talked to the producers, director Larrain even said that if not because of Portman, he wouldn't do the film "Jackie." He truly confident that Portman can give life to the character she is to play.

The movie is centered in the devastating life of Jackie a week after the unprecedented death of her president husband. The movie also features the life of Jackie in the Whitehouse as well as how she became an iconic woman of the 20th century.

There had been portrayals of the life of the former first lady in television and film but are only focused on her elegance, her beauty, incredible fashion statement and her marriage but this time around, it will be a lot different and it is said that this is the most accurate story among the other portrayals in the past, the Forbes said.

According to NPR, the upcoming movie "Jackie" is full of tragedy and drama. Viewers will be able to see how Mrs. Kennedy handled her devastation following the assassination of her dear husband as well as how she would preserve her husband's legacy.

The film is now being shown in participating theaters and since it will only be shown in a limited number of theaters, check the location so to be able to see this mesmerizing movie.
