The "Naruto Shippuden" animé Boruto arc has just been confirmed, featuring an original "Boruto" animé rumored to be released by mid-2017. The new announcement sets rumors to rest that the Boruto arc may just be special episode instead of a full animé adaptation.

The original "Boruto" animé clip debuted during the Jump Special Animé Festa 2016, confirming the earlier reports that the animé staff wants to continue the "Naruto Shippuden" animé series by featuring the second generation of characters instead.

The "Naruto Shippuden" concluded in an episode shown last Oct. 13 and recent episodes were just filler episodes, awaiting the reboot of the Naruto franchise. The story of Naruto has come full circle with the hero achieveing his two primary goals, namely, to be the Konoha's Hokage and to be acknowledged by all the villagers.

From that point onwards, the animé will take on a different story arc, featuring Boruto, Naruto's son. Even without an extensive Manga source material to work on, the animé staff were able to come up with an original story for the "Boruto" animé series according to Otaku Vines.

According to rumors, the "Boruto" animé will not be atypical sequel to the Naruto franchise for it will have a whole new storyline. The newest animé series will pit Boruto against Kinishiki and Momoshiki as presented in the Manga series, JobsnHire has learned.

Moreover, the "Boruto" animé will be about the adventures and even the troubles that the Team Konohamaru and Moegi will have. The series promise an action-packed animé typical of the "Naruto Shippuden" series.

The "Boruto" animé hopes to capture the interest of the fans just like it did with "Naruto." The combination of the two franchise, "Naruto" and "Boruto" will offer fans the best of the original Manga story while giving something new with an original Boruto arc.

The "Boruto" animé is set to air in mid-year 2017. Meanwhile, "Naruto Shippuden" episode 485 continuing Sasuke's story will air on December 8, 2016.
