Fans of the augmented reality game "Pokemon Go" can expect an annoying bug to be patched in an imminent update, as Niantic Inc. continues to expand the handy new feature of the game.

Ahead of the upcoming "Pokemon Go" Christmas event, the mobile game company Niantic is working on a number of important updates. The Nearby feature of "Pokemon Go" recently launched in the UK, and the feature will roll out to new territories in the coming days and weeks. The Nearby feature of the game makes it easier for a player to find Pokemon out in the wild.

Niantic made it known that they will be expanding the Nearby Pokémon feature to the rest of the continental United States as well as in the large parts of Europe. The mobile game company will continue to review the feedback on their official social media accounts and in other channels, wherein the company will make the necessary changes, according to Express.

On the other hand, the "Pokemon Go" Christmas event is speculated to come along with a hundred Gen 2 Gold or Silver Pokemon creatures, such as Pichu, Espeon, Umbreon, Slowking, Blissey and Baby Pikachu, that will finally make their debut appearance. The December event of "Pokemon Go" also seems to bring more spawn to selected Pokemon that include Staryu, Snorlax, Starme, Seel, Clefairy, Clefable and Dewgong. The inclusion of Snorlax will definitely excite avid "Pokemon Go" fans and players as this Pokemon creature is one of the toughest to come across in the game.

It has been said that during the Pokemon event, the most avid "Pokemon Go" gamers can start hoarding the tiny bird Pokemon, Pidgey. Pidgey is considered to be the most effective source of XP in the "Pokemon Go" universe, Slashgear reported.

In addition, the Pokemon December event might also feature the release of the legendary Pokemon creatures like Articuno, Motres and Zapdos.
