The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched not by the plan of the company, but the flagship smartphone will roll out on what it's best suited to.
The Galaxy S8, as the flagship smartphone of Samsung for 2017, was always going to be a key product launch. The release cadence of Samsung would have allowed the Galaxy S8 to refine the concepts seen in the Galaxy Note 7. Unfortunately, the various Note 7 battery issues have put paid to the tech company's best laid plans.
Instead, the Galaxy S8 will be available as the originator of a number of new concepts. The front-facing snapper of Galaxy S8 is set to be equipped with an autofocus functionality. A first for the South Korean tech company, the feature will surely bring a bigger crowd to its already massive fanbase, as the selfie specifications are considered to be a must in a smartphone considering photos are taken quite significantly, according to ET News.
