"Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles" release date

"Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles" was announced by Prideful Sloth, an Australian based development studio, which is led by a trio who is an ex-Activision producer, an ex-Rocksteady Studios artist, and an ex-Rocksteady senior programmer. According to the official website of Steam, the game will be released in the second quarter of 2017.

"Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles" setting

According to the official website of "Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles," the video game will be set on the large island of Gemea. This island is a frontier with eight distinct environments, which ranges from sunny, tropical beaches to cold, snowy mountains. Each of these locations will have their own flora and fauna and it will have changing seasons and a day to night cycle.

The massive island still maintains a look of paradise, but that is just the outside appearance. On the inside, there is an evil presence that covered the land and its people in despair.

"Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles" journey

Players will be controlling the hero of Yonder when exploring the island in "Yonder: the Cloud Catcher Chronicles." He will try to uncover its secrets and mysteries in it as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery, while also saving the island and its inhabitants. On the hero's journey to become the island's champion, the player will be joined by forces with natives and the mysterious Sprites, who are the only ones that have the ability to disperse the evil.

"Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles" towns

In "Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles," the towns of Gemea will have residents that are affected by the arrival of the murk. Players can build relationships with them by contributing through talents like farming, crafting, cooking, and many more. They will be rewarded with resources, a new farm, and many more, depending on their relationship status.
