Top rated games 2016 looks into the reviews by top PC gaming-exclusive site editors and the corresponding ratings they gave to each game. To make it to the top 15, the games must either earn a perfect score of 5 stars and no less than 4.5 stars as minimum. Moreover, the titles included here are only games included in the official store of STEAM, but not necessarily limited to 2016 release.

Below is a short rundown of the top rated games 2016 by Pc Mag beginning with two game titles that have earned the perfect score of 5 stars. The others are listed alphabetically.

Metal Slug 3

It is a run-and-gun game involving high-octane shooting where fully loaded soldiers protect the Earth from alien invasions.

Minecraft

An open-ended world where players can use their creativity and imagination with complete freedom.

Overwatch

A first-person game focusing on team attacks and defense in a less dark, cartoony world.

Rocket League

An honest no-nonsense game of soccer with exaggerated spectacle to make the match enthralling.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The last of the action-RPG series, killing beasts, collecting loot and protecting the child of destiny.

Ulta Street Fighter IV

A one-on-one fighting game with new characters and stages.
