Free-to-play "Gigantic" is finally set to kick-off its open beta for Windows 10 and Xbox One starting Dec. 8 through the Xbox Game Preview Program. The free-to-play online team-based MOBA title will release as part of the Microsoft's Xbox Game Preview Program in North America and Europe.

According to IGN, the free-to-play MOBA title "Gigantic" will offer cross-platform play, allowing Xbox One and PC users to play together. The "Gigantic" open beta will feature three maps and six characters. Players at each team will be able to pick from a weekly rotation of 6 different heroes out of a total 16 character roster.

As reported by Gematsu, each hero features a unique play style that can be customized by players through character skill trees during each match. Teams work together to claim point around the map in an effort to control the battlefield. For a team to defeat their opponents, they need overtake the enemy's Guardian. They can be done by powering up their team's Guardian and controlling the battlefield.

Additionally, "Gigantic" features explosive combat with fast-paced teamwork, along with team strategy and skill. Players on each team are required to work together like a pack of wolves and fight together to defeat opposing teams and their Guardians. Their primary weapons in this battle are swords, spells, and guns.

As mentioned earlier by MS Power User, a planned closed beta test will also kick off this coming Thursday, starting from Dec. 1 to Dec. 4.

Developed by independent gaming studio Motiga, "Gigantic" is a free-to-play competitive action MOBA video game. "Gigantic" focuses on a team of five players battling alongside a massive magical behemoth known as a Guardian. The main goal is to protect their guardian along with their team and to destroy the opposing team and their guardian. The game features a wide range of playable Heroes for players to choose from, all with unique play styles and abilities.

"Gigantic" is also set to release on Arc (PC Windows) at some point after its open beta program, however, the release date has yet to be announced.
