So how true is the circulating rumors about the return of the Marvel vs. Capcom series to the PlayStation after the third series Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has ended? An insider claimed that the Marvel vs. Capcom 4 will be revealed at the Sony PlayStation event to be held on Dec. 3, according to Slash Gear.

Well, the PlayStation event is the perfect place for the announcement as the Capcom Cup 2016 will also be held at the said event. So the expecting gamers will have to wait until then.

Images that can serve as an indication of the fourth Marvel vs. Capcom's release has recently surfaced in the internet. According to Comic Book, the images seem to indicate next year's release of the game.

The 20 years of Marvel vs. Capcom in seen in the first image and it indicates a celebration in the newest chapter of the series. In the second image, characters like Iron Fist, Wolverine, Doctor Strange and more were featured and are folded into somewhat number "4".

Lastly, the third image features a number "4" logo with the Marvel, Capcom and PS4 logos which appears to be a teaser image.

Anyone who might have seen the images could think that the release of the game may come soon. However, please note that this images are not confirmation, Comicbook reported.

The anticipation on the release of Marvel vs. Capcom is fueled due to the fights that still need to happen. A lot of gamers are expecting to see the fight between Asura and the Hulk as well as Wesker vs. Psylocke.

Also the showdown between Deadpool and Dante, Magneto vs. M. Bison and Zero vs. Ironman are also expected according to Cinema Blend.

The noise on the rumors about the release of Marvel vs. Capcom clearly indicates that there is a great demand for the game and that Marvel is still popular.
