Taiwan-based HTC has recently introduced its "HTC Desire 650," one of the latest in its long lineup of Desire models. The new model is featuring a new design as well. The "HTC Desire 650" is similar to the design of the previous model HTC Desire 630, except that the 650 model has a unique 'sculpted grip' design.

The HTC Desire 650's back is rubberized and the 'sculpted grip' is located on the lower part of the phone and are created for the better grip of the handset while the upper half is smoothed out, reported Slash Gear.

As for the display, it has the same design as the Desire 630. It has a 5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass with a 1280 x 720 display with a pixel density of 294 ppi.

Slash Gear added that the device is designed with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera which is good for photography, supports video as it can shoot 1080p and it also supports HDR. The back camera may look oversized but its color blends perfectly with the main color of the handset.

Moreover, the newly-unveiled smartphone is featured with a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor with a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of internal storage but expandable through is MicroSD card slot. The HTC Desire 650 is powered by Android Marshmallow 6.0 with its Sense UI 8.0 which is backed by a 2200 mAh battery offering 17 hours talk time and 672 hours on standby, according to Digital Trends.

The HTC Desire 650 can be connected to a 4G LTE network connection, as well as NFC, Bluetooth and GPS + GLONASS. The device also supports Nano sim and is incorporated with a boom sound technology, according to Gadgets 360.

Please note however that the details on the release date, the availability and price is not yet mentioned as the "HTC Desire 650" has only appeared in the website of HTC.
