Reports are mounting up on the internet claiming that Apple Inc. will kick off manufacturing its new iPads in December 2016. Considering the tech company's launching approach, it is likely that these devices will roll out during the first quarter of 2017.

This development of Apple's new iPads supported the August leak of KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who made known that the new Apple iPad devices in 2017 will come along with the powerful A10X central processor. It has also been known that a 10.5-inch iPad will be included.

The inclusion of such item is in line with the popularity of the device with both the educational and business markets. The upgrade of the 10.5-inch iPad 2017 may be necessary, judging from the fact that the current iPad is small. It is probable that the 10.5-inch iPad fits in well together with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which is a bit huge and more expensive, according to Digitimes.

Along with the 10.5-inch iPad, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also expected to launch the 12.9-inch iPad Pro for its iPad lineup update in 2017. It has been said that both the 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro versions will also feature the A10X processor.

Meanwhile, the benchmarks of A10X processor appeared online back in October, wherein it showed the performance levels of the processor. Significantly, the A10X processor is higher than the A10 chip that is packed in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Tech analysts have also claimed that the 10.9-inch iPad 2017 will assume a borderless design, Apple Insider reported.

That being said, tech critics are now expecting that the new 10.5-inch iPad will see shipments of 2 million devices in the first quarter of 2017. The total shipments of the 10.5-inch iPad is slated to reach as many as 5 million to 6 million units.
