The original Firestorm in CW's "The Flash," Robbie Amell, talks about a possible casting as another Marvel character.

Amell says he would be more than willing to work within the Marvel Comic Universe (MCU) if given the chance. It is said that this is not surprising since most working actors nowadays are the ones making comic book characters come to life on either the big or the small screen, according to Cinema Blend.

Currently, Marvel and DC, which left actors questioning whether they would star in one and ignore the other, monopolize the theatrical world. However, to cite an example, one actor had already played in both fields; Ryan Reynolds played "Green Lantern" and "Deadpool" both coming from different universes in the comic industry, according to Comicbook.

Having played Firestorm, Amell said he has no loyalties citing DC has killed his character off a couple of times, and he is always glad if he is called back. However, he also states that he is a huge fan of the Marvel movies, saying he likes what they are doing.

He notes that playing a character he is interested in and that speaks to him has nothing to do with being Marvel or DC.

His Firestorm character was killed off during the first season of "The Flash" and was briefly resurrected as Deathstorm in the Second Season to play his Earth-Two counterpart. Now that Killer Frost has made her appearance on Earth-One, it may be possible to bring back Ronnie Raymond because of Flashpoint.

Asked if his character is still alive and if there is a chance for his character to return, he replied that the nice thing about when a character dies in one universe, there is always another Earth, in Earth-One, Ronnie is dead because he sacrificed himself. He goes on saying, "There is always Earth-3, Earth-4, Earth 5..."
