Google Site is back and it is not only prettier and easier to navigate, it is now available for everyone's use. Earlier in 2016, Google said this software needs a major overhaul, and after a short-term beta phase, it will be online very soon.

This web builder technology of Google has been around for eight years, but it became dormant and was later on placed in the archive of G Suite, Slash Gear reported. G Suite used to be called "Google Apps for Work," which was also formerly called "Google Apps for Your Domain." Google site used to be available for a selected few, but now it is available for everyone, especially those who use G Suite.

Easier to Navigate

For the uninitiated, Google Sites is a tool that allows users to develop and manage websites. Now, the revamped Google Sites can let users simply drag and drop files, images, and texts from the G Suite app environment and develop a modern site that they can manage using Google Analytics, NDTV reported. With this tool, users can not only drop documents, sheets, slides, images, and charts from the G Suite apps, they can also embed YouTube videos, Google Map locations, and Calendar events.

Easy to Manage

Google Sites offers six themes users can choose from for the overall look of their website. Using Analytics integration, users can now monitor the traffic in their website more efficiently. Users don't need to be hard core coders or skillful programmers to use this tool.

Some of the themes and layouts in this tool have the capacity to scale or flex depending on the device used for visiting the website. This means the website created through this will look amazing no matter what platform or device.

It also features a preview mode, so that the admin of the website can check whether the site they've created looks good or not. Sites is best for the team as it allows real-time and multi-user co-authoring for all the members.
