After the success of Surface Studio, Microsoft is already gearing up for Windows 10 VR Headsets. It was already unveiled but much of the attention was put on Surface Studio and the company is planning to rectify that.

The Verge reported that more details about Microsoft's Windows 10 VR Headsets are set to be revealed in the upcoming WinHEC Events - Dec. 8-9 at Shenzhen, China and Dec. 14-15 Taipei City, Taiwan.

Microsoft has partnered with the different hardware makers to make sure that the launching of Windows 10 VR Headsets is a success. Makers such as HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer and Asus are adding a dedicated VR Headset plug in all Windows 10 PCs that they are producing.

PC Mag reported that to be able to use Windows 10 VR Headset, users will need a PC with 4GB RAM and a Quad Core CPU which means that Core i5 and i7 is fine, graphics card with DirecX 12 support and USB 3.0 port. If users already have this on-hand, then they are good to go. Users can now enjoy playing games.

But of course, users with high performing PC will have greater experience and will have enhanced visuals and effects. Reports are now saying that Windows 10 VR Headsets are going to be available after the launching of Windows 10 Creators Update by March 2017.

Windows Holographic is an integral part of Windows 10 VR Headset. Microsoft is trying to convince hardware makers that use Windows Holographic inside VR Headsets. The platform will allow users to buy games and apps compatible with Windows 10.

Microsoft is yet to announce the features of the basic model of Windows 10 VR Headset. Because of the varying price, it is safe to assume that each VR Headset model has different features. Hopefully, we can learn more after the WinHEC events next month.
