As the roll out schedule for Android 7.0 Nougat to HTC handsets are getting closer, HTC 10 will get to taste the sweet treats of Nougat real soon.

The news came from LlabTooFer, a notorious leakster who posted the first screenshot of Android 7.0 Nougat update on HTC 10. According to the ROM developer, the build is currently stable; however, the firmware will roll out to HTC 10 users in EU before it is available elsewhere.

Updating its Twitter followers with stream of 'Android Nougat installation' screenshots, LlabTooFer posted another image of Android system information that mentions HTC phone.

This seems to be a legitimate proof that Android Nougat will indeed roll out to HTC devices in Q4 2017, possibly in December.

Android 7.0 Nougat update for other HTC handsets

HTC has been keeping in touch with its mobile users with the latest news on Android Nougat update. With HTC 10 getting to taste the Nougat, this means an imminent release to HTC One A9 and M9 variants.

Other handsets that will possibly getting the firmware update include HTC Desire 820, HTC One E9, HTC M8 and HTC Butterfly 3; however, the release date remains unconfirmed, but speculations hint at early 2017 update for the said devices.

Meanwhile, Motorola is the first in line to bring the Nougat features to its handsets, wherein the update lets Moto Z Droid and Droid Force to be compatible with Daydream mode, Android Police reported. As for the Galaxy Note 5, the Android Nougat update is currently being tested.
