Jenny Blake, career strategist and co-founder of Google's career mentorship program gives advice on strategies on getting a more positive atmosphere in one's workplace, as reported by CNBC.

First thing to do according to Blake is to not to worry. The feeling of not being satisfied at work is normally part of the professional cycle for those who seek fulfillment in their jobs. She told CNB that career plateaus are not a sign that you have committed mistakes or an indication of personal shortcoming. She emphasized that it is a good opportunity to develop.

Instead of thinking of the things you do not like about your job, listing down the things that make you enjoy your work is also one way to deal with the job that you hate Blake shared. By realizing the things that make you appreciate your work; one might feel better and be able to find out what one person is looking for. She recommends employees to ask the questions, "What is working? What am I enjoying most? When do I feel the most in the zone at work?"

The career expert explained that envisioning your next step would be a good thing to do. Then one can ask for mentors on the topic and study more about the area. Launching a career pilot or an ordinary experiment to test your theory is also possible.

Focusing on the aim of being versatile will help a person instead of hurting them. People should pressure off themselves. It is alright if your job does not make you feel one hundred percent fulfillment in your life. Making time for your hobbies is one way of getting off your mind of all the negativities originated from your work. A hobby can give you assist at work, a yoga can be helpful during your career just like her few years ago as she explained.
