While the PS4 Pro seems to have enjoyed a brisk sales since it was released last week, in spite of that, the PlayStation 4 Pro's upgraded SATA 3.0 connector appears to be a useless upgrade.

Although Sony made the right decision to support the faster SATA 3.0 standard connector with the PlayStation 4 Pro. The connector technically allows much faster transfer times on any drive a person attaches to the console, however, it's the solid-state storage device (SSD) that should benefit the most from the process.

Anyway, PS4 Pro's faster SATA 3.0 standard connector was put in a test, and it turns out the tester were seeing minimal gains for the reason that developers may have artificially put a limit to the bandwidth used for loading. With that, it leads to leave a room for other system processes such as instant recording, background downloads, and the like, according to VG 24/7.

The test for PS4 Pro's faster SATA 3.0 standard connector shows an obvious advantage over for SSDs standard HDDs, but the SATA 3.0 actually doesn't improve stuffs in any noticeable way.

On the other hand, Sony's most powerful gaming system appears to have swarmed by widespread complaints about PS4 Pro's inability to connect properly with 4K and HDR-capable TVs from different TV brands. It appears the causes of the PS4 Pro's connectivity problems were a common occurrence, ranging from the gaming system is not getting any picture at all, as well as not recognizing the specific TV models that can support 4K and/or HDR video, Forbes reported.

Sony's initial response from its EU PlayStation Community forum was suggesting TV manufacturers would fix the issues. However, some of the TV manufacturers are blaming the problem to the PS4 Pro. Nevertheless, LG made it known that they will provide a solution by means of a software upgrade at the end of November.
