Harley Quinn is back in DC's "Birds Of Prey" and she's bringing a lot of girl power with her. This is big move for DC, introducing female heroes and villains in a male dominated superhero world.

So what can we expect from DC's "Birds of Prey"? There are many rumors and speculations that has been going around, but if we are going to trace its history, we might have a greater understanding on what we can expect from the movie. Let's start with its members.

First on the list that can make its appearance in the film is Barbara Gordon or Batgirl. Most of us are familiar with the Batgirl from Batman but in "Birds of Prey," Batgirl is known as Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Commissioner James Gordon, Cinema Blend reported.

Next on the line is Laurel Lance or the beloved Black Canary. This character gained much popularity when she joined Team Arrow in DC's TV series "Arrow." Her character died in "Arrow" Season 4, but the creators of the show promised to bring her back mid-season in "Arrow" Season 5. If that's the case, her sudden resurrection proves to be timely.

Another character that can be introduced in "Birds of Prey" is Helena Bertinelli also known as Huntress. Her character was introduced in the first two season of "Arrow." Her weapon of choice is a crossbow and is quite known for her no-nonsense violent strategy in fighting her enemies.

There are a lot of female heroes and villains that can appear on "Birds of Prey." Some are not that popular to the mainstream public but they surely made their mark in the comic world. There's a possibility that it will include Hawkgirl and female villains such as Catwoman and Katana as well as Poison Ivy, according to Movie Pilot.

There's a slim chance that "Birds of Prey" will feature some male superheroes such as Nightwing and Blue Bettle. Even if they do, this upcoming superhero movie would still be a female dominated one.
