Latest rumors suggested that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 might be rolling out in early 2017. Reports are mounting up the internet claiming that the upcoming high end laptop/tablet will sport superior specs such as PixelSense display panel, Kaby Lake chipset, efficient battery and much more.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to come along with a 12.3-inch PixelSense screen. Moreover, the device is rumored to be available in two variants, which includes a 4K Ultra HD model and a 2K resolution version.

Under the hood, the Surface Pro 5 is said to pack a 16 gigabyte of RAM, paired with Intel's Kaby Lake processor. Even so, some reports suggest that the upcoming Surface Pro 5 hybrid tablet will run the SkyLake processor. Anyway, the device is likely to carry an AMD or Nvidia Pascal GPU, as well as a vigorous battery, armed with a USB-C support, PC Advisor reported.

The improved battery life of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 can approximately last up to 7 hours. Besides, Microsoft's upcoming device might feature enhanced stylus and also offer a standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi.

Furthermore, reports hinted that the new processor of the Surface Pro 5 is expected to provide the users with a 25 percent performance boost and high-resolution video panel, according to iDigital Times.

It has been said that the base model of Surface Pro 5 is anticipated to have a price tag of $899, while the 4K UHD variant of the device is expected to be up for grabs for a high price of $1,599.

That being the case, Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 and Apple's iPad Pro were two of the most awaited devices that were released in 2015. Now, rivalry to be seen in the tech world are the Surface Pro 5 and the iPad Pro 2. But, Microsoft needs to provide the official specs and release date of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.
