Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced recently that its "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto" will release a stand-alone version for the fighting game, alongside with the game's physical release.

Having being revealed to be the final DLC for this fighting game, "Road to Boruto" expansion will enable players to experience the game even without the base title "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

In addition to this, the game publisher also revealed the game's physical packaged product, which will hit the tech market in Feb. 3, 2017. Despite previous reports that the DLC will only allow players to access its digital download in North America, the gaming giant has confirmed that the physical package will be rolling out in Europe and Japan, according to Today.

As per its release date, "Road to Boruto" will be released on Feb. 2, 2017 in Japan and Feb. 3 in Europe and North America.

In Bandai's official website, the game also confirms its added feature, including the adult Naruto and Sasuke complete with their own unique move sets and fighting styles.

The announcement states: "Road to Boruto brings together the lightning-paced combat, anime-quality graphics, and epic story mode from Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 while integrating an all-new adventure chronicling Boruto Uzumaki's exploits from "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." In addition to the new story mode, "Road to Boruto" will also include new playable characters for both offline and online Free Battle Mode and new fighting styles for Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha in their Hokage Naruto and Adult Sasuke costumes."

In the past update, "Road to Boruto" announced the release of its new playable charater, Mitsuki, the supposedly "son" of Orochimaru, as an addition to the huge list of characters for the DLC. Mitsuki's history tells that he is a product of Orichimaru and is actually the sixth attempt in creating an independent individual.

The physical release of "Road to Boruto" and its base game is tagged at a price of $49.99 for both the Xbox One and PS4. The digital release, which is just the DLC, will be available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Steam for $19.99.
