Following the issue of the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the company remains dedicated to create exceptional smartphones and rumor has it that the Korean electronics giant is working on Samsung Galaxy S8 with their model numbers leaked.

In a report by iDigitalTimes, a certain tech informant named Evan Blass turned to Twitter and posted the model numbers of the Samsung Galaxy S8. "Samsung Galaxy S8 models are indeed skipping SM-G94* model numbers, will ship as SM-G950 & SM-G955. Know what else is on the works? SM-N950," Blass tweeted.

Although Blass did not indicate the name of the phone models, anyone can easily guess the names following the naming pattern that Samsung has been using over the years. Perhaps the SM-G950 and SM-G955 will be called Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

According to BGR, "Samsung also confirmed last week that the upcoming smartphones will feature an intelligent assistant similar to Siri. S8 is also rumored to feature a dual-lens camera on the back, an iris-recognition camera on the front, and enhanced wireless charging capability."

Despite the fact that the company needs a rebound after the controversial recall of Note 7, there are no details yet when Samsung Galaxy S8 will be released. The company wouldn't afford rush jobs at the moment so they need to focus their work and they still need to find out what really went wrong with the exploding Note 7.

The release may even come later that what is expected which was confirmed by Samsung, which means, Galaxy S8 will not be unveiled until April next year, reported BGR.

At this time, Samsung will be expected to go ultra-high-def on its next smartphone. Another speculation came up that the Galaxy S8 will come out with curved sides similar to the S7 Edge and it might have a pressure-sensitive screen, CNET reported.
