The lead renderer programmer of the first-person shooter video game "Doom," Tiago Sousa, stated that the computing power of Microsoft Xbox Scorpio for 4K gaming is a waste of resources. Sousa further notes that the available power of Xbox Scorpio must be used for 1080p gaming instead.

"Doom's" software lead renderer said that the Xbox Scorpio is still a console. Although the gaming system is capable of rendering in native 4K, but using 6 teraflops to achieve the 4K is a waste, considering the computing power of a console must be for higher fidelity gaming at 1080p, according to WCCF Tech.

In spite of that, as Microsoft's Project Scorpio gaming system is slated to roll out in holiday 2017, Xbox executive Aaron Greenberg has talked about the upcoming gaming system, saying the device is capable of delivering a true 4K experience.

Greenberg said that Xbox Scorpio will really bring the most powerful console a person has ever seen. The console will bring the really true 4K gaming, as well as the incredible visual games that people have never seen before on a console, Game Spot reported.

Furthermore, on Xbox Scorpio's 4K gaming capabilities, Greenberg also discussed about what the American tech giant was aiming to entice the game enthusiasts through the development of the console. Greenberg stated that gamers who have spent thousands of dollars on a high-end PC are getting the 4K gaming experience on Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio.

That being said, the tech company unveiled the Xbox Scorpio at E3 in June, in spite of that, Microsoft did not pitch in much in the way of specifics about the gaming system since then. Anyway, Greenberg claimed the tech giant is saving a good deal of significant details about Microsoft's Project Scorpio for 2017, part of it will be the price of Microsoft's Xbox Scorpio.
