Youth scholarships are being offered by Community Foundation Muskegon County in the hope that scholars under its care could live a productive life that can drive the community forward. - as they venture on new opportunity tor a brighter future.

It is an annual scholarship grant worth more than $1.5 million in total that can be availed by graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students who may have difficulty in financing current studies. Such support is necessary for the progress of the community itself, the foundation members' believe.

The good thing is, you can be awarded this $500 to $25,000 scholarship despite not belonging in the lowest income bracket. Involvement with the community plays an important role.  Donors are from  the different disciplines of studies. So, varieties of the grant can be fitted to the different needs of the scholars.

Janelle Mair, CFMC director of grantmaking can only be thankful that they can offer such scholarship to worthy Muskegon Community  students to be able to attain higher education. The valuable investments are made to help improve the community. Organizers wish that the project can continue when these scholars chose to work in the community and help in its improvement

Since the foundation stays away from the student pool that can be eligible for any other scholarship or free tuition offered by the Muskegon Community as well as Baker College, they are confident that they have maximized the reach for such scholarship needs.
