Apple could be setting a major surprise in March 2017 with the return of the iPad. The tech giant's tablet has been somewhat neglected recently, as Apple focuses on its latest smartphone and MacBook offerings, in spite of that, the center of interest of Apple could all be about to change.

Reports have claimed that the Cupertino based tech giant is now planning to relaunch the iPad Pro, with its most incredible build to date. Although reports from the award-winning research platform, Barclays Research, doesn't show any details regarding the prices, it explains that Apple's upcoming iPads might come with a major upgrade in sound quality, as the three new iPads will now be packed with quad microphones.

With that, it represents great news for iPad enthusiasts, considering that one of the device's main weakness has now been cleared up. The new iPad will give its users the chance of watching a video or listen to music without the necessity of wearing the 3.5mm headphone jack, which the feature is also included in the latest iPads, according to Express.

Anyway, the upcoming 12.9-inch iPad Pro is expected to roll out with the new True Tone display that's already in the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Meanwhile, the new iteration of the 9.7-inch iPad will have the lowest price among the three tablets, even though the variant is part of the Pro series. This is for the reason that the device will be sold alongside the iPad Mini, Apple Insider reported.

Nevertheless, customers should not expect that the 9.7-inch iPad Pro to be available with premium specs, it is very likely that the smallest tablet would be manufactured with entry-level features only. The tech company is reportedly planning to entice consumers who want a more affordable iOS-running tablet that comes along with this iteration, Phone Arena has learned.
