The "100" Season 4 is set to be released in summer 2017, but fans may not expect Lexa to be making any comeback soon. This means that Clarke will need to move on, possibly find another love interest, but not anytime soon as fans still grieve for Lexa's death.

The "100" season 3 finale still left fans grieving for the death of Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) who was killed just after sharing an intimate scene with Clarke (Eliza Taylor). Lexa was shot by Titus (Neil Sandilands) whose real target was Clarke.

There are rumors that say producers of the show might bend to fans' request to bring Lexa back. The LGBTQ community is also adding their voice in the fray, claiming that television is still not ready to see lesbians getting intimate, which is why Lexa's character had to go.

However, "100" executive producer Jason Rothenberg in the San Diego Comic Con finally put an end to the rumors that there will be no Lexa for the fourth season of the show as reported in Variety. Instead, Clarke will be focusing on surviving for the next six months and will be preoccupied with the secrets she knows. She will have to eventually choose to reveal what she knows to her comrades or to keep silent, fearful of their reactions.

However, Rothenberg hinted that there may be a romantic storyline in the works for Clarke. Fans are not too excited with the news, claiming that Clarke should not easily forget Lexa for what they share was deep.

Rothenberg is quick to admit that Clarke is young, only 18, adding that the character will eventually find someone and fall in love again according to Hypable. She had lost two loves and a soulmate in Lexa, which indicates that Clarke has strength beyond her years.

The "100" as a post-apocalyptic drama is one of the most brutal shows on TV. Adding romance and tale of friendships soften the violence and allow viewers to understand the struggles that every character undergoes not just to survive but also to live.
