Take a dose of "American Horror Story: Roanoke" to take you off the horrors of the real world. Fans of the successful series are confused of the finale when they saw Sara Paulson taking up once again on her journalist AHS: Asylum character. But show creator says there's more to come because he wanted the series to become this generation's "Twilight Zone".

Confused much? You're not alone. When the teaser trailer for the season finale of "American Horror Story: Roanoke" hit the internet, even those who have given up on the show since the horrible "AHS: Coven" were scratching their heads. Whatever Ryan Murphy plans on is clearly working. The confusing mix-ups in its present American Horror Story arouses curiosity.

The ten-week season of "American Horror Story" is coming to an end and the show has been adamant on keeping its promise to kill every single character in the woods of Virginia, Screen Crush reported. Sara Paulson comes back as Lana Winters, the journalist from Asylum, to interview this season's sole survivor Adina Porter's character Lee Harris.

According to the teaser, Lee is being blamed for the series of murders in the house, which were all taken to court, Collider reported. This is another nod to Murphy's other hit show "The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story."

Murphy said the show will get weirder as it progresses because he vowed to make it this generation's "Twilight Zone". He promised more takeovers will be happening soon as characters from Murder House in Season 1 and Coven in Season 3 will be coming in and out to give more color to the series' story line.

The show also took a jab at the political status of the country. Taissa Farmiga, who's a character in Season 3, came back as a blogger on the hunt of the Roanoke haunted house. The young actress talked about the story being interracial and set on a post-racial world. She said it is really not about that. It's about the colonization of America on a colony that turned into matriarchal from a patriarchal system.

Season finale will air on November 16 next week.
