Snapchat and Instagram filters are things of the past as Facebook's new app will let users transform their pictures into stunning works of art. Not only that, even videos can be filtered and made to look like the works of the masters, such as Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and more.

It's an extravagant new filter making user's regular walk in the park look like it's straight out of Van Gogh's "Starry Night." Users can choose which filter to apply and voila! The picture will look like the works of the masters.

While this same technology is not exactly brand new as it's already available with the app Prisma, it differs largely because it also offers filters for live feed videos. Furthermore, users won't need internet connection to make it work, PC World reported.

But it doesn't stop there. Hussein Mehanna, one of the senior engineers over Facebook who's pushing borders to bring AI farther in the tech world, said that the app is embedded with several deep neural networks, Wired reported. It's designed after the neural networks of the brain and is already used when Facebook users identify the person in a group picture.

Facebook is working hard to integrate this using various works of art to transform simple personal pictures to the highest level. As of now, the company is still in the stage of testing the technology video style transfer on different countries before it can be deployed to the rest of the world, Venture Beat reported.

Deep Neural Learning is a hot type of AI from the Cafffe2Go technology. Facebook will have to train more neural networks on tons of different data to make an inference of a new data. Facebook is now positioning it strategically for the public's use very soon.
